I am feeling grateful because I am living my life with purpose and intention again. I am present, and everything I do, I do with gratitude and love. Twelve years ago, I was accepted for the very first time to the Florence Biennale in Italy. This is a contemporary art event held every two years. Artists from all over the world join in one of the most important and renowned biennials in the world. This year, I made a commitment to myself and career to emerge once again and follow my life’s purpose. And hence, I applied once again to the biennale.
This morning I opened my email to find myself staring at the acceptance letter. I rejoiced in the accomplishment and felt thankful for this new opportunity. All investments and efforts to build my career, paid off with this acceptance. I am grateful, I am proud, and I am working for what I want. I do not see things now as sacrifices; instead, I see them as opportunities and investments in my future. A commitment to my artistic purpose.
I will continue to be bold, take risks, and be fearless. There is limitless potential in me (as well as in you), and it is time that I recognize it. I believe in myself and I am actively making decisions that will create the future I want today. There is nothing impossible in this life, and if you can dream it, you can do it. Even when at one point or another, you gave up on yourself. Make the conscious decision to say yes to your life and your dreams. Wake every morning and be thankful for everything you have, what you have achieved, and what you are working for. Believe in yourself and your dreams. If you do, they will be your reality, and everything around you will conspire to make it happen.
Live with intention. Don’t wait for tomorrow. Make the choice today.
I will see you at the XIII Florence Biennale in Firenze Italy in 2020.
Much love;
Tere
